Join our team as a Salon Assistant and take part in an exciting 12-week paid training program that will jumpstart your career in the salon industry! This position offers the perfect opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop your skills, and transition into a rewarding career in hair care and styling.

What’s in it for you?

• Paid Training: You’ll receive $15.00/hour during the 12-week training program, with the opportunity to earn commission once the program is completed.
• Career Advancement: Upon successful completion, you’ll transition into a commission-based stylist role, where you’ll start building your own clientele and earning based on your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist stylists and salon professionals with daily operations, including client prep, shampooing, and maintaining workstations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients leave with a smile.
• Help keep the salon clean and organized—handling laundry, restocking supplies, and sanitizing.
• Support front desk operations, including scheduling, answering phones, and processing transactions.
• Participate in hands-on training to develop technical skills in hair care and styling.
• Adhere to salon policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

• A strong passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• A professional demeanor with a client-focused attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must be available for part-time training and commit to a minimum of one year of employment after completing the training program. (Education reimbursement will apply if the commitment is not fulfilled.)
