About me
I have always had a passion for doing hair (giving myself haircuts when I was younger, hair and makeup for all my friends for high school dances, and much more!!) Right after high school I went to a community college, got my management degree, and started my career in retail management. I toured the same cosmetology school 2 times, I did my third visit, and I decided it was finally time to start a career in cosmetology!

Why I'm here
Coming into the beauty industry can be scary, intimidating, and stressful at times. It can also be so rewarding, joyful, and fulfilling. I have never thought about cosmetology as a job but more of a passion, something I truly love to do. At certain times getting my degree at the community college I went to was hard for me because it was not hands-on, I didn’t have the ability to be creative, and I truly felt I never ‘loved’ what I was doing. I never realized you could love what you do for your career until I started cosmetology school. I finally understand what it means to love what you do. I cannot wait to graduate and continue to grow in this career field.
