Betty Gibson

To whom it may concern, Hello, My name is Betty Gibson. I am currently enrolled in the Cosmetology Program at Paul Mitchell The School Springfield. I have completed approximately 6 months of the program thus far ( Core, Protégé, and Phase 1). I have been able to achieved each of my short term goals since beginning the program, I’m currently in Phase II advanced Cosmetology area. My extracurricular activities have been Fundraising bake sale, assisting with a community event Fashion show, assisting fellow students with study groups and clinical floor skills at the school. My long term goal is to complete the Cosmetology program by February 2020 and crossover Barber, eventually apply and begin the Esthetician Program as well in 2020-21. I have always been interested in learning hair styles, Makeup application, and nails, but my career has been nursing for the past 26 years. I knew if I did’t follow my dream this year that I probably would have not started the program, I took a leap of faith and called Paul Mitchell The School Springfield, I knew that day it way the right time and during my tour I became so overwhelmed with excitement I couldn’t wait to apply and continuing that excitement today. I enjoy taking care of people and helping them to feel good about themselves. I want to continue to perfect the skill of hair, skin, and nails. I will use this experience to continue to learn and do the best that I can with each and every Client. I feel that I am a good candidate to win a chance at Beacon 2020. Please consider me as one of the students to attend Beacon 2020. Thank You.
