I decided on going to Paul Mitchell the School Springfield because I have always had an immense passion for the beauty industry. I love seeing how creative you can get with colors and makeup. I enjoy making people smile and just a simple haircut can change someone whole outlook on themselves and raise their confidence. I want to be that person that helps people feel their most beautiful self possible. _____________________ My wife, Marys, is at the heart of everything I do. Without her love and support, I would have never chased after my dreams. I owe all of my success as a beauty professional to her. Although I knew this is what career I was meant for, it never seemed like the right time, financially, to go back to school. If it wasn't for her support and believing in me, I would still be a cashier at Best Buy. _____________________ I booked an appointment at the school in December 2019 for Marys to get a haircut. On the ride home I told her how I always wanted to attend cosmetology school and how great I thought I would be at it. When we got home, Marys gathered information and told me I was applying and we would figure everything else out as we go and not to worry about finances. She told me to chase my dreams and gave me the tools to do so. I started in January 2020 at Paul Mitchell the School Springfield in the cosmetology program and my life has never been better.
