Being an artist was all fun and games, that is until I dreaded the idea of actually pursuing art through education. I loved to create, I am a visionary, and art has always came very naturally to me. However, I am no Picasso, and I knew an art degree would not fulfill or allow me to manifest my dreams in the way I wanted to. Hair began as a skill I knew I could pick up on, and developed into a passion I want to elevate every single day. As much as neatly placed foils and fun textured cuts fuel my motivation, it is the culture and sense of belonging I found in the beauty industry that truly fuels my soul and purpose. I do hair to learn and create, yet also to form connections with other human beings. Whether that be the guest in my chair, the stylists around me, the front desk receptionist, etc. the professional beauty industry is full of people who know people. Making connections is how opportunities, relationships, and big dreams come into fruition. I strive to do nothing but learn from every opportunity, connection, mistake, and success that is presented to me. We are all students of life, not just cosmetology. I am a dedicated emerging beauty professional seeking to grow through the focus of hair, art, fashion, and empowerment.
