Grace Petefish

I am a 19 year old cosmetology student in North Little Rock, AR. I have had a passion for the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. I have a driven personality. Being one of four kids in my family, being driven and competitive is at the root of my personality. I grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas with both amazing parents, two sisters, and a brother. When I told my family that I wanted to get my cosmetology license, it was no surprise. I feel like I was born for this industry. In 2017 my mom passed away from cancer. It knocked me down for a while. But I came back up ready to fight for my future for her. So I applied for cosmetology school at Imagine Paul Mitchell and I haven’t stopped sprinting towards my goals since. Some of my dreams include owning my own salon and spa. Until I can realistically achieve that goal I will be an assistant working in a salon alongside people that I can learn and grow from. I would say that my specialty is color. Ever since my first week in school color has been what intrigues me most. I love the challenge of color. It can be tricky and dangerous but very rewarding. During my time in school I have earned my Airbrush makeup certification from Debra Dietrich. And I have completed the Robert Jones makeup academy resulting in my makeup artist certification.
