Janis Estanislao

Jha Estanislao is a professional makeup artist in the NY/NJ area and is currently pursuing her cosmetology license at Parisian Beauty Academy. She has earned her makeup certifications in Beauty and Fashion, Hairstyling, Special Effects, Stage and Body Painting at established schools namely Academy of Freelance Makeup NY, Makeup Designory NY, and Make Up For Ever Academy NY. Initially studying for a career in the medical field, she realized that her passion truly lies in the arts. Once this new passion was awakened, she left her 9-5 job to dedicate all of her attention to being in the beauty industry. She carries on her work ethic of being conscientious and detail oriented and aspires to be a well-rounded artist that can truly work in all mediums. Jha has worked on freelance teams for notable brands such as MAC, Laura Mercier and Make Up For Ever. She has also had the pleasure of assisting  veteran artists such as Anastasia Durasova, Rebecca Casciano, Katie Jane Hughes and James Vincent. These assisting opportunities have allowed her to be able to work on high production sets for clients such as Nikon, Kimberly McDonald, Effy Jewelry and WWD. A regular at fashion week, she has worked on teams for butter London, Oliv Ares Haus of Glam, AOFM and Make Up For Ever Academy for shows such as: Monique Lhuillier, Skingraft, Falguni and Shane, Alon Livne, Saunder, Meden, Deola Sagoe, Lee Jean Youn, Zana Bayne, Libertine, Vaute Couture, Daisy Fuentes, Yoanna Baraschi and NOLCHA. She also acted as Key Makeup Artist for Lingerie Fashion Week SS15 - handling all of artists schedule and looks for all the shows. With strongly rooted goals to make a name for herself, Jha is continually working on her craft to become a better artist.
