*It all started as a dream (literally, sleeping) that I was working in a hair salon, as a senior in high school. The next day, as I was exiting the mall after a day of shopping, I happened to walk past a salon...so I figured, ”what the heck?! Why not?!” So I went in and asked “Are you hiring?” They replied- “Are you a stylist? Me-“No” Salon- “Are you in school?” Me- “No” Salon- “Well what do you want to do?” Me- “I don’t know, answer the phone and sell retail and stuff??” (Remember...17 years old) Salon- “Oh! A receptionist! We are hiring!! Can you fill out an application??” Me- “YES!!” This is where I found my passion! I worked as a receptionist my senior year of high school and decided that I wanted to become a hairstylist, so I enrolled as a “Future Professional” at PMTS & from there I have had the best experiences as a receptionist, salon assistant, hairstylist, & now salon owner....and it all started from a dream.
