Kayla Brown

As a little girl I always loved playing with hair and make up. Constantly playing with my moms makeup , cutting and styling my dolls hair, when I was 18 I first went to cosmo school at Empire but had to take leave of absence due to a high risk pregnancy , after having my child  and being a single parent I needed to work so going back to school at the time was not an option for me ,so for years I worked dead end jobs for minimum wage . In the meantime I expanded my family 14 yrs later I realized while still working dead end jobs that it was time to go back to school for a career that had my own scheduling and was something that  I enjoyed  doing as well , which brought me right back to cosmetology school this time at Paul Mitchell school. I love being able to help others as well as see others happy and confident in themselves. I love coming to school learning new techniques and especially watching my customers leave happy with their cut , color and most of all with themselves. I plan to one day also take an esthetics course after finishing cosmetology and hope to one day run and own my own spa/salon. I am a firm believer that we can all do anything we put our mind to. I will be graduating Paul Mitchell Jan 2020 plan to be certified in hair extensions and lashes by then as well.
