Loren Ames

There is nothing I love more than being behind the chair with the ability to create a lasting look for my clients. My name is Loren Ames, 36, born in Haiti and now living in colorful, Miami. For the last 18 years, I have come to hone my skills for this art craft that I love so much. Having lived in cultures all over the world like South East Asia, West Africa, Central America and India, to name a few, keeps me inspired to challenge the status quo. Trained in classical cutting and progressive color techniques with brands like Aveda, L'Oreal, Wella and Redken I developed a love for transformational color. Specializing in balayage and other trending hair color techniques, I have had the opportunity to work with celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, the Kardashians, Teana Taylor, Charlie Sheen and many more. The majority of my clients come to me for color, cut and extension services. Over the years my skill set has brought me to frequent the 'set life' on reality tv, music videos and publications in magazines like Vogue Italia, Marie Claire, Complex, Ocean Drive and Nuvu to name a few. My passion lies in creating beautiful looks, but also in the business of beauty. I love to ideate and execute and look forward to connecting.
