I started braiding at about 12 or 13. I started with doing my own hair, once I established a method and got better. I began doing my brothers hair. Soon after that I began to braid the girls hair in my neighborhood. I was so excited bout learning to braid and getting better that I would volunteer to braid hair. Now I’m finally pursuing the dream of becoming a professional. This is my second go round and I plan on accomplishing the dream of finishing cosmetology school and getting that license I deserve. I one day plan on owning my own salon. The goal is not just to make money but to be able to control my life, have fun and build a brand that I can proudly stand on.
