About me

Hello! The name is Sydney Tran, I was born here in Columbus, OH. I am the middle child of 3 daughters and a Sagittarius if you’re into that. I am as fierce as they come, well that is when you get to know me. Breaking out of my little shell has been a challenge but I’m getting better about not hiding who I am every day. I’m a graduate from Aveda Institute Columbus and plan to move to Vancouver, BC once I pass state board and receive my cosmetology license to live with my younger sister who just graduated from fashion design school. We have a master plan to be able to work and create together! My dream is to travel the world in this industry and take every opportunity that comes my way. Just have to roll with the punches and take every opportunity that comes my way! The world is my oyster and I’m here to learn everything I can.

Why I'm here

My goal is to be as creative as I can when it come to my art and to make others feel confident and beautiful in a world where others try with everything in their power to make you doubt yourself. Growing up I struggled a lot with my image, from what society was telling me what beauty was, to peers and family members telling me I wasn’t good enough or pretty enough. I am here to fight these “beauty standards” society has created and expose the beauty that lives around us every day. Beauty is not just one form, beauty is all forms and I’m here to inspire others to be strong and love themselves no matter what others think. You’re loved and you are beautiful!
