Hello beautiful people! I am Tara, a 25 year old cosmetology student at Paul Mitchell the school Jersey Shore. I enrolled in April of 2019 and expect to be graduated and licensed by January 2020. A simple haircut for a family member was all that proceeded my commitment to the beauty industry. For years it seems, I have been the “go-to fixer” of bad haircuts. It astonished me, that friends, and friends of friends.. would call me out of the blue. “Can you please fix my hair?” “Can you do my eyebrows?” “Can you do my make-up?” I have heard it said many times before, if you are good at something, don’t do it for free. Fortunately for my loved ones, they have taken full advantage of my talents! However, now, coming into the professional world, I aim to develop my skill set. This is a discipline that will come with time and pure ambition to be successful. Proper health and beauty is a lifestyle choice, but at my core, I am an artist. Cosmetology has offered a new canvas for me to work on and I have found such joy in the results it’s brings, the smile on a guest’s face when they look in the mirror. Education leads to inspiration.
