Tori Bland

Hello! My name is Victoria however I go by Tori in most cases. Ive been a dancer for 9 years and now a figure skater for 6 years, I’ve always loved the show and stage aspect of hair and make-up, as well as the stage it’s self. There’s just something special about a live audience... often I push to take any opportunity I can with in a theatrical threshold and have succeeded in most cases; most recently I was recruited by The Skating Club of Boston to create the make-up looks, face charts, and send out list including all things hair and make-up for the longest running ice show in the world, Ice Chips. Someday I do aim to be working on a movie, tv and/or a live show set doing SFX make-up and prosthetic applications among the wide list of possibilities. A class I took at Rhode Island school of design (RISD) in special effects make-up is what I believe sparked the love I have for make-up. I did it sort of reverse to how most people do it, I started with the liquid latex and scab blood before I ventured into the lipstick and lashes  aspect of the industry, however for where I’ve landed so far I wouldn’t change a thing. I look forward to my next adventure.
