Aja Nelson

My name is Aja Nelson, I am passionate about serving people in all areas of life, I am the go to person that get things done, no matter how big or small. I pay attention to details and is very proactive and reactive. Family, team dynamics and communities serving specific family oriented needs fuels my souls, I love to see people visions come to life and I love to serve with purpose helping others achieve their goals. Growing up I was the only girl in my family, I had all boy cousins that decided to grow their hair out and they became my doll babies and test dummies around the age 8. I started developing my skills and found a passion and the need of my skills with children in my neighborhood and in summer camps. At school, in camps and in church I was always in me zone tucked away braiding or styling someones hair. I always had passion for children and hair. I wanted to be an early childhood developer, I combined my two passions. I am a stylist that serves families, children and adults. I enjoy being able to serve families in every stage of their life and educating clients and youth about hair and teaching technical skills for daily upkeep, maintenance and in home styling. There is nothing more rewarding for me to go through the journey of peoples life through their hair. Weddings, birthdays, breakups, a pampering day, divorce, job interviews and funerals, Im there serving and supporting through hair, the satisfaction, the trust and relief is my reward from clients
