Alberta Towns

My name is Alberta Towns, I go by Birdie because Alberta is an old lady name. I am 19 years old and originally am from Cleveland, Ohio. I moved to Jacksonville, Fl with my grandmother and her husband February 2015 shortly after My mother died. My eldest sister did hair and I was used to having mine done but since I’d moved away from her I had to learn to do me and my other 3 sisters hair as my grandmother wasn’t able. My grandmother had a friend who would do our hair but I couldn’t understand how it took her allll day to do a sewin so I was determined to learn. Hair makes me feel new, it helps me connect with the world. It is my passion and when I speak to my guest when I work I see my purpose. I aspire to travel I would like to make every head my billboard in life. With my profession I give and get a little when I speak with my guest everyone has different knowledge than the rest and that’s the best part for me.
