Alexandra Pirtle

I've always had a passion for all things beauty. When I was in kindergarten there was a project where we made our adult selves out of paper. My paper adult self was a makeup artist. Safe to say that I've always loved playing with makeup. Throughout high school I got experience practicing on others for various occasions. These include dances, dance competitions, dinners, and casual wear. I've also always loved pampering others. My love for skincare is much more recent. It makes sense though, as makeup and skincare go hand in hand. Even with this passion I did not start my post-secondary education pursuing what I love. Like many young adults freshly graduated from secondary school, I chose to go to college. I spent 2 years at Lone Star College, where I studied prerequisites. It never felt right though. After much consideration, research, and encouragement from my support system, I decided to stop college and enroll in beauty school.
Which brings us to the present. I am currently an esthetics student at Ogle. And I am so grateful that I get to pursue my passions.
