Alexandra Rojas

Hello! My name is Alexandra, but I go by Alex. I come from a family of 6 and I have lived in Washington my whole life. I would say that I am a goal driven individual who holds themselves to a very high standard. My parents taught me at a young age that traveling and the beautiful experiences of the world are so much more than materialistic things. I love to travel and hope to travel more in the future, so far I've only been to 2 countries and all over the U.S. Another one of my hobbies is powerlifting and exercise. I got into fitness in elementary when my parents put my younger brother and I into soccer. We grew up extremely competitive and it was always exciting to grow together. I joined a rugby team in high school and loved every bit of it. My team was extremely well bonded and we even made it as far as winning state championship. With that being said, I wish I could have enjoyed more of my high school years before Covid hit. I graduated 2020 and felt lost as everything was online or through zoom. I decided to join the work industry and worked at a customer service job where I excelled quickly and got promoted to manager. This really opened my eyes to what I wanted to do as a career. I always grew up loving makeup and beauty, so much that my friends would always ask me to do their hair and makeup for events. I made a decision to sign up for cosmetology school after having thought about it for so long. My journey has been long, but I'm excited to see what the future holds for me.
