About me
Hello friends! 🙋🏻‍♀️ My name is Alex. I am currently a student at Paul Mitchell in Rhode Island. I absolutely love working with people! It's my passion to make others feel good about themselves because it's something I've always struggled with myself. What I would like to work toward is becoming a color specialist and learn more cutting techniques after school. I will not stop until I have reached both of my goals! Why I'm here
Before starting cosmetology school, I worked in the medical field for 9 years. That is where I came out of my shell. The medical field taught me how to work with people and the public on a professional level. I have always dreamed of doing hair and makeup but wasn't always sure how steady of a job it would be, which is why I stuck with the medical field. But you can't stick in something you're not passionate about. So once Covid hit I took my chance to leave that field and start school for the thing I've always had a passion for. I love hair, I love makeup, and most of all I love helping people! Dolling myself up is the one way I can look in the mirror and feel good about my appearance. I love changing my look, and if I can help others to reach that satisfaction within then that will bring me happiness also.
