I’m a life long creative who started her relationship with cosmetology by cutting and coloring my own hair in my bathroom. I’ve gone down different career and educational paths in my life, but at the end of the day I always found myself in the same place—in front of my bathroom mirror cutting my own hair. I knew that what I was truly in love with was cosmetology. I attempted cosmetology school twice in Phoenix, AZ, right after I had my son. It had to be put on the back burner. But after moving back home to Oklahoma, I knew I had to try again. I didn’t care how many tries it took me. Thankfully I found a place among the Paul Mitchell school system. I’ve been able to grow as a creative, and as a professional. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of cosmetology, but I have a focus on color and cutting—specifically creative and lived-in looks.
