About me
My name is Alexis Garretson, I was raised in Elkhart, Indiana with seven siblings in a fun household filled with many different experiences. I went to Jimtown from K-12. I've always been very determined to accomplish what I set my mind too. I am new to this industry but have a ton of experience with guest experience. I worked as a hostess for 2 years and I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I constantly am driven to come up with ways of helping others out. I have graduated with my high school degree and working towards my cosmetology license.

Why I'm here
I am here because I have always been the "go to" hair person. All through school if someone needed their hair done it was go to Alexis and then they would share with their friends to continue going. As I came close in my senior year of high school I was struggling to decide a career pathway to go down. That's when people around me asked if i've ever thought of cosmetology school. Then I realized that it has always been apart of something I do in my every day life and I enjoy. This really gave me the encouragement that I could suceed at something I really love. I hope to specialize in color and cuts throughout my career.
