About me

My name is Alexxis Camille. I am from Atlanta,Georgia. I chose to become a master cosmetologist because I've always had a passion for the beauty industry. Fun fact I'm a natural born artist. I can draw and paint so I feel as so I have the eye for creativity. I like to express my creativity through hair and makeup. It's something about making a person feel good, confident, and beautiful that touches my soul I absolutely love that feeling. My specialties are quick weaves, blunt cuts, and ponytails for right now but I plan on expanding my horizons learning new skills relevant to the beauty industry opening up doors to new opportunities. To reach my goal I plan to travel, learn new skills, taking breaks from my personal social media accounts, and learn a new language. Simply focusing on myself and my school work making sure I get certified as a master cosmetologist. Pushing myself to open up my own salon. Honestly it's not easy but the way I look at it is just because something is occasionally hard doesn't mean you won't love it or flourish. Cosmetology school will likely challenge me but in a good way.

Why I'm here

I love helping people to show themselves in their brightest and most beautiful form. I want to be here because I feel as if cosmetology a place where I can explore my creative artistic side and create works of art. I give myself 2 years to get to where I actually want to be and that's a salon owner. Starting with writing out a salon business plan, setting on a salon structure, finding a location, obtaining the proper license, securing my hair salon financing, setting my hair salon prices, insuring my salon, buying furniture and equipment, loading up on products, hire and training stylists, networking and spreading the word about my salon, and even consider a brand partnership. One thing I have to remember is to never let the fear of failure hold me back embrace it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Success is not achieved by simply starting, but persistently finishing what you've started.
