Alicia has gone above and beyond to help me in my new career. I am a new stylist on the floor as of January and as i am adjusting to my new placement, i am confused , lost , sometimes hopeless. She really takes the time to help me understand the formulas and why we are using what we are using. Everytime i have a panic attack on why the glaze is shifting 10 colors she reminds me of the process. Sometimes i just need an inspirational push and She’s always there to correct me or help me improve my verbiage. I can’t say that i would have been at this point a few months later without her constant assistance, push and compassion for this career. Alicia has been a crucial figure in my journey to becoming a stylist. From encouraging me to practice my skills with her guidance; to answering my ongoing questions. Alicia is the best mentor I could ever ask for. 

A memory I love to recall is when Alicia did a foliage while I was assisting her. She walked me through her intentions for each foil placement and angles she was lightening. Then when it came to glaze, she explained to me how each shade would give the tone the client desired. That day I learned deeply how angles and crafting a tone are essential when planning the outcome of the clients hair. 

During my time studying under Alicia I’ve gotten to experience the light that she is. She brings real scenario’s  and excitement when explaining her work and how it was achieved. Her explanations always leave me fascinated and they always stick in my memory.
