Hi, I am a current student in the cosmo program at Paul Mitchell. I can’t wait to continue to learn and grow as a person and artist in this amazing industry! I have always loved beauty since I was a little girl, admiring all the grown ups who were able to wear makeup, even watching tv and movies In awe when people were all done up in full glam. It always made me happy and caught my eye. Even getting my own makeup kits or the barbies that you could do hair and nails on during Christmas time lit up my world. As time went on I started to grow up and never thought of it as a career even though the highlight of my day was getting ready and done up for whatever the day may bring! I decided to peruse the medical field and I did it for a few years but never got that happy feeling that I remembered as a child or the joy in getting ready every morning. I missed my nails, my different hair styles, fashion able outfits etc. and I found my self just getting through the day, and I was losing that joy I always had in me. When the realization hit me that if I could feel totally different just by how I looked and felt in my own skin, then I could really impact others by helping them feel beautiful and happy with themselves. That realization finally sunk in and I signed up for cosmetology school the next day and left my job in the medical field and I am the happiest I have ever been and can’t wait to bring others the joy I get to feel and experience on a daily basis!
