When I was a sophomore in highschool, I started experiencing hormonal acne severely on my chin and on the forehead. Not only did this take a toll on my confidence, it took a toll on my physical and mental health as well. When I would be invited to outings with friends or family, I would often decline because of how ugly I truly felt and I was afraid of being judged or looking dirty due to my skin condition. After trying many different methods of treating my acne, none seemed to work. This caused a separation between the people I love the most, and most importantly, myself. I lost my sense of self love during this time because of what my skin was doing to me and that's just something unheard of. My mother was the one to notice that my skin had caused a major effect on me and she offered to help. She ended up booking a consultation with an esthetician who specializes in acne treatment. Months later, her skin care recommendations and her treatments have transformed my skin for the better and I couldn't be more thankful! This was one of my biggest inspirations when it came to this line of business, because I know how much of a difference and impact skin can make and I want to be able to give that to others so they can thrive and enjoy life with beautiful skin.
