Alicia West

Hello, my name is Alicia West. 

I chose esthetics because I used to struggle with my skin in many ways. When I was in high school, even into my 20’s, up until maybe a year ago, I had hormonal cystic acne; on my chin, cheeks, and forehead. I was going to the dermatologist every 2 months just to try to control the acne. After getting it down, I had to find a skin care routine that would help me maintain my healthy skin. I fell in love with trying to make my skin beautiful, and I would love to be able to help someone else fall in love with their skin again, because I know how self conscious I was when I had cystic acne. I want people to come into my care and leave feeling beautiful and better than ever. I love doing facials and I am growing a love for waxing.

Other than that, I have two dogs, one French bulldog and a shih tzu. I recently moved back to Houston after living in Austin for four years with my best friend. We were tired of the small town were from and decided to take a chance. Starting a new career at 27 is scary, but I'm feeling grateful. I hope to grow out of my shell being in estethics and be open to anything.
