Alyssa Collier

My name is Alyssa Collier and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently a student at Michiana Beauty College where I am studying to get my cosmetology license and expect to graduate by September 2024. I come from a small town in north eastern Indiana called Middlebury. My story is not like everyone else's, I haven't known since I was a kid that I wanted to do hair. In fact I really thought I had my career picked out, since I was young I was going to be a kindergarten teacher. That was until I started working the front desk at a hair salon my senior year and I just fell in love with the atmosphere. I loved seeing the behind the scenes of how a color is picked out and mixed and all the different techniques there were for cutting hair. Although my main passion is being a hairstylist I am very committed to working out and have recently been obsessed with running spartan races and keeping my body strong and healthy.
