Alyssa Harpold

Hi, my name is Alyssa Harpold. I am a current student at Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis. I am graduating in the beginning of July 2021. Before pursuing cosmetology, I attended Grace College for nursing for 2 years but soon figured out it was not my favorite thing to do. I love spending time with friends and family, I love animals of all kinds, I love caring for people and making people feel loved, I am huge into music, and I love taking adventures and having fun. As I was younger, I was always encouraged to love myself and express my creativity in any way I could. At the age of 8, I loved brushing hair and discovered YouTube tutorials. I would watch videos on my parents laptop and try to perform them on my own head. When I got a little older, I was able to get more involved in makeup and found a love for that as well. One of my favorite feelings in the entire world is making people feel more beautiful and obtain overall confidence in themselves. Through my experience over the years, I knew cosmetology was the place to start. As I am learning more and more everyday in school, I am also trying to push myself to become the best cosmetologist and person I can be in order to satisfy my future clients.
