About me
Hi! My name is Amanda Kong and I am a cosmetology graduate at Citrus College looking to specialize in color (specifically vivids) and special occasion hair and makeup. I am passionate about people feeling their best. As a stylist, we can't fix whatever is happening a client's life, but the least I can do is give them a fiery new look to keep their head up high and take on the challenges of the day or to feel extra special on their important day. One day I'd love to have my own salon that offers an escape from life to heal your soul and to leave feeling fabulous! When I'm not working on my dreams I love to go to the beach, snuggle with my dog and go on random adventures with my friends. I enjoy building genuine connections and experiencing the most out of life.

Why I'm here
I really want to expand on my knowledge from cosmetology school to offer the best client experience I can. As I student I am open to ANY education oppertunity or mentor ship. I love learning from others, as everyone has their own unique way doing things and can offer me something special that you can't find anywhere else. I'd specifically love to learn more about texture, haircutting and coloring, and about the industry itself. Serving all textures is not only a good business oppertunity, but also a common courtesy to the community, as everyone deserves great hair. Haircutting and coloring are complex arts and I'd love to deepen my understanding of them both as they are the most common services in the salon. Learning about the industry as student is essential mapping your future.
