I've been trying to find myself in this industry for years and years. I've been in barber shops, high end shops, cost effective shops and I've just never felt like I fit in. I became a mentor to a close friend of mine who is now MY stylist and it really opened me up to educating the new generations of stylists. When I was behind the chair trying to sell product for higher commission, I quickly learned that educating clients on product instead of pushing product really benefited me in the long run. I juat really enjoy showing someone something new so they can pick it up, learn along the way and fall in love with the process!
