Amanda Morriar

I was born to serve! I believe the best leaders are the best servants! I was born in New Haven, CT. I am the eldest of four siblings and that is where the journey of my self-proclaimed title of "The Boss" began. Growing up in a single-parent household was not easy but I watched my mother work tirelessly to get the job done! She never complained! Many say I have my mother's heart and her work ethic and those are two things I hold sacred.

I love utilizing my talents for good. I am full of energy and passion! I enjoy meeting new people and sharing my love for hair and beauty with others! I am a Mother to my beautiful daughter Aubrey. I have been a salon owner for over 10 years! The beauty industry has allowed me to stretch my wings as far as I can imagine. I have had the honor to work in film, tv, style countless amazing occassions that truly create special milestones. I look at this work as Legacy! Many believe or associate legacy as just monetary inheritance, but it is so much more than that! Maya Angelou once said, "People will for forget what you said and people will forget what you do, but people will never forget how you made them feel!" That resonates with me and that is a special message I share with my students and stylists.
