I am a professional hair stylist and makeup artist that has been in the industry for about 2 years. I grew up surrounded by “beauty queens” and aspiring cosmetologists whom were all beautiful people I aspired to be just like.
Growing up, I constantly felt pressure to be successful by going to a university and was told that there was no way for a “creative” to be successful without a traditional job or education. Because of that, I always felt out of place in school and in the workforce.
I took those thoughts and made it my motive to find a community of driven and passionate artists and prove that salon artists of all kinds can not only make the world a more beautiful place, but be incredibly successful as well.
