Hi there, my name is Amber Hussey and I have been in the beauty industry for almost 6 years now and loving every step of the journey! I am a very family oriented person and love all things sentimental, my heart is so big for all of my family/friends and I feel the same love for each of my clients as well.
I made my way into The Hair Loft salon as I was completing my degree for cosmetology at Sandhills Community College and entering into the intership portion of my schooling. I completed my intership under the owner Heather Ryan(with behind the chair experience of over 30 years and New York training) then earning a chair into the salon after gaining my license and completing my state boards.
While never loosing my small-town charm as a native of Moore County I have always drawn inspiration for chic New York looks but love a relaxed vibe and style. Upon graduating, I developed my career under the creative directors and training of Redken, Goldwell, Rusk, and Amika. I love creating looks with each of these brands but have found myself falling more in love with the Redken way and pillars of education. My education background has earned me the title of senior stylist at The Hair Loft on Linden, as well as Redken certified Specialist, and Redken Finishing Authority; As I have completed 2 of the 7 pillars of Redken education.

I find my passion in helping to bring out the best looks that cater to each clients looks/lifestyle. While I adore all things hair related, I really love working with short haircuts, bayalge natural lived in looks for blondes/brunettes, and extensions.
I pride myself on my ability to connect and give a thorough colsultation with each client, no matter the amount of times they have sat in my chair. The loyalty of my clientele appreciates my passion for education and this industry. Since being in this industry for almost 6 years, this is still just the begining for me, as I have full intentions and dreams of being able to travel with my career and hopefully help to educate other stylists. I am excited to continue pushing myself with education so that no matter who sits in my chair I am able to adapt and be diverse as a stylist.
This industry has given me so much and I love the support this industry can hold, as I feel it is so important to lift each other up as business professionals.
