Hello Gorgeous
My name is Amber Kristine Robinson-Holmon. I’m 32 and have been married to my life partner for almost 2 years. I was born and raised in the PNW and love spending my time outdoors. I currently have no children but I do have 3 cats; Milo, Mila and Jack. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends making memories , whether it be from camping trips to eastern Washington, game nights with my besties or road trips to Arizona to visit my parents. I’ve worked for Safeway since I was 16 years old and even though this job has been good to me I always knew that it wasn’t the career path I really wanted for myself. About 6 years ago I worked for an independent makeup company and I got really invested in makeup and beauty products in general. During Covid I even worked at a boutique salon in Gig Harbor as the receptionist. I grew very fond in the beauty and hair industry. About a year and a half ago my older brother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, with a lifespan of 2 years to live. I looked up to my brother as a role model, he always saw the best in things and always encouraged me to do better in life. Shortly after finding out about my brother’s diagnosis, he encouraged me to pursue my passion in the beauty industry, and so I did. May 2023 I enrolled myself in the cosmetology program here at Summit Salon Academy. Even though I was extremely scared and nervous, with just 6 short weeks left in the program I don’t regret my decision. I not only have grown as a person, but my passion and learning for beauty has expanded enormously. Unfortunately my brother passed away a few weeks ago and all I wanted is for him to see me graduate, but I know he would be extremely proud of me. My goals for after school is to find a salon close to home, has a great atmosphere, never ending learning opportunities and one that I can continue to learn and grow, not only as a person but as a stylist. I’m eager to learn more and become the best I can be and continue to make my parents and my brother proud.

I want to change someone's day even just by spending a short amount of time with them. Using my artistic ability and talents to achieve a look that gives someone not only outer beauty but helps grow confidence is an indescribable feeling. Being a stylist is truly amazing and gives people a bit of positivity for today and leaving them with a gleaming ray of hope for tomorrow.
