Amelia Wiant

Hello there! My name is Amelia Wiant. I am currently 20 years old and a student of cosmetology at Paul Mitchell the school Delaware. Growing up, I was always in awe of the beauty industry and the power it holds. I am a third generation cosmetologist, so I watched my mother work in her suite in our home my entire life. Even as a toddler I would sit on the floor of her salon and watch her as she transformed peoples lives. Although I was extremely young I understood my calling. Whether it was my Barbie mannequin, my sister, or even our animals, I always had my hands in someone's hair. Cosmetology is not only an occupation or field of study, to me it's a way of life. There is no better feeling on earth than seeing someone's confidence and self image spring up when you turn them to look in the mirror. Helping people feel and know they are beautiful is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have; its worth all the long hours, nail biting, stained clothes, sore wrists and knees. I am completely dedicated to growing my skills and adapting to the ever-changing industry, as well as promoting self love through hair and nails!
