Hello, my name is Amelie Wittenmeier, and I’m a student at Summit Salon Academy, studying full cosmetology. I’m expected to graduate in February 2026. Right now, I’m really into doing vivids, blonding, and texturized shaggy cuts. Born and raised in Portland, I’m ready to make my mark on the local industry!

Why I'm here
When I started school on January 6th, 2025, it felt like my life had just begun. I’ve always loved everything beauty-related. I remember being 15 when my mom finally allowed me to wear makeup, and how excited I was. Since then, cosmetology has been my bread and butter. I’ve discovered that someone’s hair can change the way they walk, the way they hold themselves, or even how they act. A new haircut or color—sometimes even something subtle—can be exactly what a client needs to feel like themselves again. My hair has given me the power to walk with confidence and keep my chin up, and I want others to experience the same joy that comes from finding their perfect look.
