Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Authentically YOU
Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Authentically YOU

The clients, team members and students I've been fortunate enough to work with have shaped me even more than I've shaped their hair and careers. This industry became a part of me by accident as I was supposed to be a 4th grade teacher (Inspired by Ms Joy Peterson, shout out to the best 4th grade teacher ever). Luckily for me and my cousin Sara that needed a carpool buddy to beauty school, I'm stubborn and don't believe in quitting or giving up so I finished school and in the process found a career I've loved ever since.
People will not always remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel. It's my mission to make sure everyone I work on or with feels valued, cared for and beautiful.
I have a passion for growing, learning and evolving. Whether I've got my Cosmetologist, Instructor, Education Specialist or Human being hat on, I'm here to observe, engage, participate in the learning process and lean into success.

I'm here for networking opportunities. In my current role as Education Specialist I oversee our curriculum, content, how it's being delivered and received. Something I enjoy is booking guest artists, additional classes and salons/ spas hiring to speak with students. I love meeting other like minded industry professionals to see what we may learn from eachother and how we may help the future of the beauty industry. Additionally, I'm in the process of opening a small salon space to spoil everyone that walks through the door. I have a desire to give back to our industry, our communities and help others do the same with a Beauty Ripple Effect. Anyone ready to jump on board is welcome! I'm continually taking classes and would love to utilize and share them.
