No Barbers No Life

I'm Andres Otañez, a recent graduate fron Paul Mitchell School in Pasadena. I completed the 1000 Hour Barber Program. During my time at school, I volunteered for multiple events. Working with Homeboy Industries preparing members of this organization for the Lo Máximo Awards, Locks of Love at UCLA donating hair for those in need, and helping with career fair at Burbank High. I'm working at Upgrade Barbershop in El Monte, CA. I recently completed four years of active duty in the Marines. I enjoy meeting new people and committed to growing for opportunities. I am bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English.

I have self-taught hair cutting skills and have enjoyed practicing them since I began. My objective is to advance in the barbering profession. My long-term goal is to become a traveling barber and provide services for high-profile clients, including celebrities such as Saul "Canelo" Álvarez.
