About me
Hi, I’m Angelique, the artist behind @angeliquesbeauties.
In high school, I studied performing arts, and while I loved being creative, my favorite part was always doing my friends’ hair. That’s when I realized how much I truly loved the beauty industry and the confidence great hair can bring.
I went on to study business in college to build a strong foundation for my future, and later followed my passion by attending Arrojo Cosmetology School in New York City. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work in several luxury salon environments, and I’m so excited to now be part of the team at Mashitas Hair Studio.
For me, hair is about so much more than appearance. Great hair can change the way someone feels about themselves — and that confidence can positively impact their day, career, relationships, and overall outlook. Helping my clients leave the salon feeling renewed, empowered, and beautiful is what inspires me most.
I especially love creating dimensional blondes and lived-in color, along with effortless, low-maintenance cuts that make clients feel confident long after they leave the chair. My goal is always to create hair that feels luxurious, wearable, and uniquely tailored to each person.
Outside of the salon, I love working on my home and exploring interior design, another creative passion of mine. Most importantly, I cherish spending time with my husband, my son Remington, and my daughter Essex. ♡

Why I'm here
I’m looking for a salon environment where I can continue growing creatively, professionally, and personally while being surrounded by a strong, supportive team. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a passion for creating luxury, confidence-boosting hair experiences, especially in blonding, dimensional color, and effortless, lived-in styles.
What draws me most is being part of a space that values both artistry and client experience. I love collaborating with other talented stylists, continuing education, and working in an environment that inspires creativity while also making clients feel genuinely cared for.
Having a background in both business and cosmetology has also taught me the importance of professionalism, communication, and building long-term relationships with clients. I’m excited to bring not only my technical skills and passion for hair, but also positive energy, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
At this stage in my career, I’m looking for a salon home where I can continue elevating my craft, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and grow alongside a team that shares the same passion for beauty, luxury service, and helping people feel their absolute best.
