My love of skincare started approximately 20 years ago while attending Cosmetology school. I began that program when I was 23 and just starting my life with my husband. With marriage came a baby and a move to another city and I became a stay-at-home mother without finishing the class and getting my license. I had always said I would go back but after years passed it became more of a “someday” dream. I also realized over the years that my passion wasn’t entirely for hair. I kept coming back to skincare and makeup. Fast forward to the year 2020. The year the world stood still. Being stuck at home most of us started to focus on self-care and I realized I had been neglecting myself. After becoming sick (non-covid illness) I discovered I had Celiac Disease. No more gluten for me. What I found with that diagnosis is that my condition doesn’t just affect my stomach it also affects my skin. I’ve suffered from adult acne for most of my life and within 2 weeks of cutting one simple ingredient out of my diet my skin was clear! Scars were healing and the redness was going away. I decided then that I needed to know more about how our largest organ worked and to help others feel comfortable in their own skin.

To help others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
