About me
My name is Arianna Borquez, I am a Professional Makeup Artist and certified Lash Extensions Technician. I am currently a student at Parisian Beauty Academy, Paul Mitchell Partner school to become a licensed Esthetician. I have always been passionate about the beauty, skincare, and fashion industry, but what I really love most is making other people feel good about themselves, feel happy, and confident especially our plus size community. Growing up as a plus size girl myself, I always had low self esteem and false thoughts that I wasn't worthy. As I matured with the years, I realized that my size really didn't define who I was as a person, not disagreeing whatsoever with the fact that we still have to take proper care of our body which is our temple by eating healthy, exercising, etc. This is when I realized that self confidence, self worth and respect starts with ME! So I started to take better care of myself, grabbing good healthy habits, changed how I dressed, looked, etc. That's when I really realized that I am beautiful, I am worthy, I gave myself respect. I began to feel very good about myself, my self esteem boosted up, and I noticed that as I protrayed myself, giving myself worth and value is how the world looked at me, and they paid full respect to me as well. Self confidence is the best asset we can carry.

After working in the medical field for 19 years, I wanted to do sometging that I love and enjoy doing, but I was also afraid of starting all over, until I remembered that everything we've ever wanted is on the other side of fear.... Therefore, I let those fears go and made the decision to pursue my dream of becoming a profeasional in the makeup, skincare, fashion, and anything within the beauty industry. I am a true believer that we are all unique and beautiful regardless of our size, skin color, ethnicity, etc. and also that our skin is our best accessory, therefore taking good care of it is essential. I believe and am confident that pursuing this this career will allow me to do just that; help others by taking good and proper care of their skin, educating them and guiding them with their home skincare routines; most of all master my skills on makeup applications which I absolutely love doing. My dream and goal is to inspire others, especially our plus size community on guiding them how to dress to impress, to be confident in their own skin and love themselves. Give them that boost of confidence. Overall, what truly makes me happy is seeing the happiness and smiles in other's faces, most rewarding for me is being able to be a part of that.
