About me
My name is Ashleigh Mendenhall and I am the owner of Ashleigh's Beauty Loft LLC. I graduated from Summit Salon Academy in Perrysburg, Ohio in March 2022. In April 2022, I opened up my loft and began working. Since becoming a stylist I have expanded my knowledge by going to Dallas Symposium, taking a Redken Specialist class, reading my Redken knowledge book, sharing a loft with another Redken artist, and continuing to keep up with what are the newest hair trends.
Becoming a hairstylist was a natural choice for me. I was always curling or braiding my friends’ hair before going out, or getting ready to cheer, or for volleyball games. I also loved to curl my mom and sisters' hair at home, along with helping them figure out what color they should try on their hair next. I decided to go to cosmetology school during Covid after realizing I was not happy with the direction I was going in my college courses.
My next step was to attend cosmetology school where I honed my natural abilities. I found my passion and was excited to be doing the thing I loved. I graduated from cosmetology school as a level 4 stylist, qualifying for salon readiness. This certificate was such an honor to me as I worked very hard at client retention, selling retail, and perfecting my skills.

Why I'm here
I would be an excellent Redken Educator because I went to a Redken affiliated school and continue to use Redken in my salon. Being able to expand my knowledge while sharing what I already know is what I strive for. I love to share all of the facts I know about doing hair. My goal is to continue to become an amazing artist while building up the next round of stylists.
