Hey there! My name is Ashley Frahm.
I have recently graduated from Paul Mitchell The Temple, a cosmetology school located In the heart of downtown Frederick.
I have job experience consisting of working at Mid Maryland Neurology as front desk from 2017-2024, Beauty Advisor at Ulta beauty from 2024-2025, Belleza Salon and Day spa as an assistant from May 2025-August 2025, and from August 2025 - present as a front desk employee at Club Pilates South Frederick.
I am on the hunt for a salon that will help me grow, and allow me to learn things I did not learn in school. I am looking for mentors that will support me and share the same love of the industry that I do. I am currently half way licensed and set to take my practical exam on January 20th.

Why I'm here
I am pursuing cosmetology because it provided me with a renewed sense of direction during a pivotal time in my life. After being advised that I could no longer participate in sports due to medical conditions, I faced the challenge of redefining my goals and sense of purpose. This transition led me to explore new paths where I could apply the same discipline, dedication, and passion I had developed through athletics.
Through this journey, I discovered cosmetology and quickly developed a genuine passion for the industry. Cosmetology allows me to combine creativity, technical skill, and meaningful client interaction, which I find both fulfilling and motivating. This field has given me the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, and I am committed to building a career where I can continue to learn, contribute, and make a positive impact.
