Ashley King

Hello! My name is Ashley King, and I am a passionate esthetician dedicated to helping others achieve their skincare goals. At 27 years old, my journey into the world of skincare has been both transformative and deeply personal.

My love for skincare began in high school, inspired by the radiant beauty of Korean women and their flawless skin. Intrigued by their secrets, I immersed myself in research and discovered the renowned 10-step Korean skincare routine. This sparked a lifelong passion for understanding and promoting healthy skin.

For several years, I worked in a warehouse after high school, often feeling lost and unmotivated. My learning disabilities made it challenging to grasp concepts without thorough explanations, leading to discouragement from teachers who doubted my potential. I found myself trapped in a cycle of self-doubt, believing I would never achieve more than a warehouse job.

However, everything changed when I learned I was pregnant. The birth of my daughter on May 20, 2023, shifted my perspective and ignited a newfound determination within me. As my maternity leave came to an end, my job informed me that they could not take me back, despite my four years of dedication. This loss, coupled with the challenges of motherhood, took a toll on my mental well-being. I struggled with depression, neglecting my own needs while focusing solely on caring for my daughter.

During this challenging time, my incredible mother stepped in to support me. Her unwavering sacrifices and encouragement became the driving force behind my decision to pursue my dreams. With her help, I found the courage to enroll in esthetician school, which has been a life-changing experience. For the first time in a long while, I began to regain control over my life and rediscover my identity beyond motherhood.

I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to my mother, who selflessly watches my daughter while I attend school. I can never fully repay her for the sacrifices she has made, but I am committed to making her proud as I embark on this new chapter of my life.

This is my story—a journey of resilience, growth, and the pursuit of my passion for skincare. I understand that the path hasn’t always been easy, but it has shaped me into the person I am today. I am excited to share my knowledge and help others feel confident in their skin, just as I have learned to do.
