About me
Hi! I’m Ashley, a cosmetology student from Mason City, Iowa. After earning my degree in Political Science from Iowa State University, I discovered that my true passion lies in the beauty industry. I started cosmetology school while finishing my degree and instantly knew this was the path for me.
As I continue my journey at PCI Academy, and I’m excited to dive deep into mastering hair extensions, blonde transformations, and special occasion styling. What I love most is bringing to life the looks I envision and helping people feel their absolute best. There’s something incredibly rewarding about transforming not just hair, but confidence and self-expression through personalized, creative styles.
Outside of the salon, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with my dog, and making meaningful memories with my family. I’m excited to grow my skills and share my passion for beauty with every client I meet.

I’m here because I’ve always loved doing my sister’s hair and makeup, and seeing how confident and happy it made her feel inspired me to pursue this path. I’m a creative and talkative person who truly enjoys connecting with people and bringing their vision to life. My passion is turning that love for beauty into a career, focusing on blonde services, extensions, and special occasion styles.
