My name is Ashley Mullis, I have been a liscensed hairdresser since 2011. I am a mother to a wonderful daughter. I enjoy the beauty industry, which allows stylists to help make others feel their best.

I completed a state apprenticeship in 2011 at That Hair Salon in Yorktown VA. I was honored to gain my salon hours under the mentorship of each of the stylists there. I was able to glean knowledge from a combined 120 years of experience. That Hair Salon was a multi-cultural salon, where I was exposed to many different skills and arts. I have always been strong in formulating hair colors, and color placement. During my apprenticeship I was also a salon receptionist where I learned how to support the stylists around me, and help to make their day run smoothly. After gaining my license I moved onto a corporate salon to gain a more rigorous pace and be exposed to more real world salon experiences. I was able to take advantage of growing at Bubbles salon where I passed their ACE curriculum aimed at client retention skill sets. I also had the opportunity to attend the Graham Webb International Academy in Arlington VA as well as many other classes in Richmond. During my time out of the salon I have maintained many color and cut clients, and have kept up my skills, and dexterity for the discipline. I believe with my past experience and knowledge I would be an asset to a salon team. I am eager to learn and have experience with many color lines. I am willing to do research for any new lines I may work with until I gain proficiency. I love expanding my skills, and soaking in new knowledge, as apprentices are adept in doing so.
