About me
Beyond being a hairstylist, I love to do anything outside. Whether that's hiking, playing tennis, going to the lake, or gardening. An ongoing joke with friends and family is that I'm basically a houseplant that needs the sun to survive and thrive.
I also love movies and TV shows. That's one of the things that led me to this career. Special effects, character creation, and colors of all kinds are so much fun and so fun to work with.
Loving colors and art has led to a lot of painting, amateur photography, experimenting with makeup, drawing, and a deep love of exploring new places and things. I love to try new foods and learn about people with different experiences and lifestyles than mine.
I also am currently engaged and excited to start a new chapter with my best friend. He's one of the people that encouraged me to pursue the career that I want.

I want to help others feel more confident in themselves and live a better life because of it.
I spent years and years self-concious of my hair. I have natural curls and for a long time I hated them and wanted to look like the people around me and fit in. Over time I learned to love my curls and put a lot of time into learning how to take care of my hair. It really boosted my confidence.
I love how simple things like a haircut, help styling, or a new color can improve people's confidence so much. You can see a change in their posture, expression, and even in the way they talk. I still remember the name of the stylist that first really started my journey to loving my hair. I would love to be that stepping stone for others.
