Ashley Pennington

Hi!! My name is Ashley Pennington. I am 32 years old and have been in this industry for 11 years. Unlike most I never had a dream of be a stylist. My plan after high-school was to head to my local community college where I would study criminal justice in the hopes of working in law enforcement. After completing my first semester I quickly realized this wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life. Not being sure of exactly what I wanted to do with my future I began working full time in a retail store. My co-workers would always complement the hairstyles that I would create on myself and then it clicked! I love doing my own hair...why not try cosmetology school? Long story short, I fell in love with hair and wouldn’t change my journey to this point for anything. I find a joy in knowing that this industry is forever changing and that there is always something new to learn. Can’t wait to see where this journey take me!
