About me

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am currently a cosmetology student at PCI Academy in Ames, IA. I live in Marshalltown with my husband, our 5 kids, 2 cats and our dog. Before school, I worked in many fields such as mental health, education, medical, and child care. I have always had a desire for helping others feel good about themselves and love all things hair and makeup, so I figured why not make a career out of something I love? I am so excited for this journey and hope you love my work as much as I do!

Why I'm here

I grew up watching my mom do her makeup and hair, she never left the house (often) without looking beautiful. As I grew up I started to do my own hair and makeup, quickly I fell in love with it! I didn't ever think cosmetology was the right path for me until I continued to find more joy and passion for the beauty industry. I am here to help YOU feel beautiful and continue to grow my knowledge on all things beauty ❤️
