About me
Hey! I’m Atyana Lewis, a future cosmetologist who’s super excited to dive into the beauty world. I’ve always loved the idea of doing nails, facials, and even hair—it’s just fun making people feel good about themselves! I’m especially into nails and skincare, but I’m always down to try new things and learn as I go. Can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!

Why I'm here
My journey into cosmetology started when I was young. Growing up, my mom didn’t really do my hair or teach me how to take care of it—no brushing, braiding, or styling. I often felt left out and different from the other girls. That all changed during my junior year when I joined the high school EOB program in Sterling, Illinois. I learned how to braid and picked up so many new skills, and that experience lit a spark in me. It made me want to keep learning and eventually become a cosmetologist. My goal now is to help kids like me—those who didn’t get the chance to learn—and show them how to care for and feel confident in their own hair.
